The Chianti exhibition at Montespertoli - Florence

The 51th Chianti Exhibition of Montespertoli begins on Saturday May 24 2008 to end on the following Sunday, June 02. For one week, Montespertoli will be the kingdom of Chianti Colli Fiorentini, the goal of aficionados and curious onlookers who, among so many labels offered will find the best of Chianti oenology. In the exposition, in fact, you will find more than thirty wine producers operating in the territory of Florentine Chianti.

The booths for tasting and sales will be set up in the center of town, in piazza del Popolo, while the restaurant area, rich in delicious specialties, will be placed in the Parco Urbano.

Throughout the event there will be exhibits on the topics of wine and agricultural machinery, along with folkloric and musical events. If you arrive during the last three days, be sure not to miss the exhibition of ancient crafts and the arts of the past.

The tasting booths will be open from Monday to Saturday, 6 p.m. - midnight and Sunday from 10 p.m. - midnight. For wine-tasting, a commemorative glass from the exhibition must be purchased; it includes two tasting coupons and visits to the Wine Museum and the Museum of Sacred Art.
